Lapsang Souchong is a distinctive loose leaf tea with a bold, smoky character from being withered and dried over pinewood fires. Brew a teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water and steep for three to five minutes to enjoy its traditional flavour.
To give this tea its unmistakable flavour, the plucked leaves are withered over pine fires, pan-dried and rolled and placed in bamboo baskets and smoked over smouldering pinewood fires. Once confined to Chinas Fujian province, it is now enjoyed across the globe.
