How to use
To Clean: Wash before first use and after each use. Clean with warm, soapy water or place the bag open and inverted on the top rack of the dishwasher. Avoid UV sterilisers as they may shorten the lifespan of silicone.
To Fill: Label the pouch using the chalk marker and allow it to dry. Fill with up to 240ml/8oz of breastmilk. Gently remove excess air, pinch the silicone seal shut, and slide the outer zipper closed. Avoid overfilling, as breastmilk expands when frozen.
To Store: Wash hands thoroughly before handling breastmilk. Lay flat in the freezer or store upright/flat in the fridge. Avoid storing in the fridge or freezer door, as temperatures vary more in these areas. Always date your milk and use the oldest first.
To Thaw: Thaw frozen breastmilk in the fridge overnight where possible, or place the sealed pouch under cool running water, gradually increasing the temperature to no more than 37°C. Once thawed and still chilled, dry the pouch and store it in the fridge until use. Do not microwave, boil, or heat on the hob. Do not refreeze thawed breastmilk.
