Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children and pets. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn to promote a steady flame and reduce soot. On first use, allow the wax to melt to the edges to prevent tunnelling. Do not move the candle while lit or while wax is hot. Extinguish with a snuffer or a gentle breath, re-centre the wick and replace the lid to preserve fragrance.
