White Wine
History: For over 50 years, La Vieille Ferme has been a benchmark for high-quality, great-value wines from the south of France. Created by the Perrin family, renowned for their expertise in crafting exceptional Rhône Valley wines, La Vieille Ferme is a true reflection of French winemaking tradition, offering fresh, fruit-forward wines that are both approachable and delicious.
Regional information: La Vieille Ferme sources its grapes from carefully selected vineyards in the Vin de France designation, primarily in the sun-drenched regions of Languedoc and the Rhône Valley. The vines thrive in a mix of limestone, clay, and sandy soils, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with warm days and cool nights. This unique terroir allows the grapes to develop ripe, expressive flavours while retaining freshness and balance.
Vinification: Each grape variety is vinified separately to preserve its unique flavours before being carefully blended to create wines that are harmonious and expressive. For the white and rosé wines, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to enhance freshness and aromatic intensity. The red wines are typically fermented in concrete and stainless steel, followed by a short period of aging to retain their bright fruit flavors and smooth tannins.
