The grapes for the Kirkland Signature Chianti Classico are grown exclusively on the south-facing slopes of the Villa Cafaggio Estate. The wine has aged for a minimum of 24 months of which at least 3 months in bottle.
This Chianti is intensely dark red in colour with aromas of ripe fruit, wild herbs and cola with a blackcurrant undertone. It boasts deeply concentrated Morello cherry flavours on the palate that linger on beautifully.
Pairs well with beef, veal and poultry dishes.
