Julia Donaldson is the author of children's books including The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo's Child, and the What the Ladybird Heard adventures. She also writes fiction, including the Princess Mirror-Belle books illustrated by Lydia Monks, as well as poems, plays and songs. She was Children's Laureate 2011-13 and has been honoured with a CBE for Services to Literature.
Sara Ogilvie is an illustrator and printmaker from Edinburgh based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her children's books include Dog's Don't Do Ballet by Anna Kemp and The Zebra's Great Escape by Katherine Rundell. Her collaborations with Julia Donaldson, The Detective Dog and The Hospital Dog, have won the Books Are My Bag Readers' Award and the Indie Book Awards. She lectures in Illustration and Graphic Design at Northumbria University and continues to create work that is exhibited worldwide.
