Grown in the Coastal Region of the beautiful Western Cape, the vines are subject to glorious cooling winds that roll in from the Atlantic Ocean. Together with excellent soil, high slopes, and 700mm of annual rainfall, it is a unique and natural expression.
Cradled in the foothills of the Hottentot Mountains, overlooking stunning False Bay, is Journey's End - the Gabb Family Winery, wholly committed to sustainably and ethically producing excellent wine. In 2021, we further developed our sustainability program with the plantation of Spekboom trees on the vineyard's open grounds. An incredible native plant, otherwise known as the 'elephant bush', it significantly absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere, far more so than any other plant.
