Johnstone's Revive Chalky Furniture Paint has been specially formulated to cover almost any surface without any preparation. It’s tough and durable, provides easy to apply, scratch resisting protection, and can transform the look of any project.Key Features:Scratch resistingQuick dryingTough and durablePreparation and Application:For a distressed finish: The surface should be thoroughly cleaned, dry and free from contamination such as grease, waxes or polish. Wash with mild detergent solution, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry. Apply 2 coats, allowing 4 hours between coats. Lightly sand to distress edges.For a solid finish: Smooth surfaces should be lightly abraded with a fine waterproof abrasive paper to provide a key. If covering previously painted surface, remove any flaking or blistering areas. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding to avoid the inhalation of dust. Apply 2 coats, allowing 4 hours between coats.We recommend that you complete and protect your furniture with Johnstone’s Revive Finishing Wax.
