The inaugural release from the Fife based distillery, InchDairnie which has the ethos to bring malt tradition into the modern world through their innovative approach to flavour. RyeLaw is no exception and although classified as a Single Grain whisky, it is composed of 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley.
The futuristic engineering that the distillery utilises, such as the hammer mill and mash filter, enables the team to work with the dense rye grain, known for its difficulty when distilling. RyeLaw is the only whisky in the world to be made using malted rye and is precision distilled in a bespoke Lomond Hill still to ensure maximum flavour. New charred oak casks sourced from the Ozark Mountains have been used to ensure wonderful vanilla notes, cereal flavours and delectable rye spiciness.
