The HP ENVY 6120e is a great all-in-one printer for families who want seamless connectivity and the simplicity of remote printing from a mobile app. It can help save on the cost of ink too. The HP App (available on iOS and Android) gets you set up for easy printing, scanning and copying from your smart device. You can print over your Wi-Fi network, and via its USB port too. It's also compatible with HP's Instant Ink Service. By signing up to Instant Ink you will be able to save up to 70% on ink and never run out. Ink is ordered by your printer and delivered to your door.

Wireless integration

Dual band Wi-Fi means a better range and a faster, more reliable connection, and it's self-healing so it automatically resolves connection issues to reduce interruption. Connecting to your Wi-Fi means you can print from a computer on the same network from anywhere in the house. It's also compatible with Apple Airprint for seamless integration with iOS devices, and Mopria-certified for Android. You can still connect wired devices via USB in trusty traditional fashion of course.

About HP Instant Ink

HP Instant Ink is a replacement ink service that saves you time and money ensuring that you always have ink before you need it. HP Instant Ink eligible printers that are connected to the internet send a message to HP when you need new cartridges and they'll be shipped directly to you. Designed to ensure that you're paying for the number of pages you print as opposed to the ink itself, it'll help you get the most out of your printer.

For a monthly fee, you can enrol on the page plan of your choice (10, 50, 100, 300 or 700 pages per month) and, regardless of what you print, including colour photos, HP will send you the ink you need all included in your monthly price plan. If you do not use all your plan pages in a month, the unused pages will be kept in your account and automatically rolled over to the next month. You can roll over up to three times the number of pages in your monthly plan, for as long as you are enrolled in HP Instant Ink. For example, you can roll over up to 150 pages if you are enrolled in a 50 page plan. You can also upgrade your plan at any time if you want more pages or cancel your plan online without penalty if you need to stop your subscription.

10 Pages per Month for £1.79

By signing up to the instant ink £1.79 plan you will be able to print up to 10 pages. If you need more you can pay-as-you-go: £1.50 for every additional 10/15 pages (which roll over if you don't use them) and if you're printing more than 10/15 pages, simply upgrade to one of the other monthly plans.

Choose to activate HP+ at setup. It requires an HP account, keeping the printer connected to the internet, and using only original HP ink for the life of the printer. HP+ is not a subscription service.

Good to know

This printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have new or reused HP electronic circuitry, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using modified or non-HP circuitry. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP electronic circuitry enables the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.
