Their inhouse chocolatiers took their signature real chocolate and melted it, before melding it with vodka and folding it into cream to create a whole new experience, inspired by cream liqueurs and the nuances of cacao. This, the original Velvetised Cream recipe, was first mixed at Rabot Estate, Hotel Chocolat's Saint Lucian cacao farm and bar. It was here, inspired by their surroundings, that they began experimenting with pairing chocolate and alcohol. Surrounded by cacao and with a detailed knowledge of both chocolate and mixology, the chocolatiers set out to create a new kind of chocolate alcohol - and this is the result. Crisp vodka brings a gentle warmth that complements the delicate cacao notes perfectly.
