PROVENANCE Super Jarrah TA50+ is sourced from endemic Ancient Jarrah Giant forests, which are only found in an Internationally recognised EcoClimate in the South-West of Western Australia. Jarrah trees only flower once every second year and are rare and unique. The highly mineralised soils of Western Australia also enable the bees to deliver the very high antibacterial ratings. HEALTHY BEES Western Australia is home to one of only two healthy bee populations in the world. Which is why our honey can be 100% raw and not treated by heat or chemicals.
The anti-bacterial activity of honey is derived via natural enzymes and chemicals in the honey that originate from the flower that the nectar has been collected. The Honey's anti-microbial strength is measured by the term Total Activity (TA). The TA is a bacteria killing scale; the higher the TA the greater the antimicrobial strength.
