It can be used as needed, anytime and as often as necessary. For best results, it should be applied every 2 hours, up to 5 times a day. Herstat is for external use only, and should not be used in or around the eyes.

Herstat contains propolis, that may cause skin irritation. For this reason, it should be tested the first time it is used by applying a small quantity on the skin of the arm, on the inside of the elbow, and checking for any reaction. If a skin reaction occurs - such as redness, itching and/or a rash - do not use the product.

Also, an allergic reaction (contact dermatitis) to one of the ingredients may rarely develop with use. If this happens, a skin irritation or rash may occur, and you should stop using the product. If problems persist for some time after stopping applying Herstat, consult your doctor or your health professional.
