Vinification details: Partially stemmed and macerated overnight before direct pressing to extract delicate colour and fragrant red berry aromas. All Henners wines are hand-crafted from start to finish; with separate fermenting of varietals and their vine clones to allow a broader range of wines for final blending; extended lees ageing for added complexity; and holding back of all bottles for at least 3 years prior to release to add depth and richness to every wine.
History: Henners was founded in 2007, with current winemaker Collette O'Leary taking over with Boutinot in 2017. We work with a network of grape growers across the South East of England to source the finest fruit bringing together a mix of terroirs and climates which allow us to produce excellent wines year after year.
