Healthpoint's verruca & wart removal pen is a gel for topical administration on verruca & warts for home use. It contains salicylic acid, which softens the verruca & wart causing it to peel off. Visible improvement can be expected after 1-2 weeks. The duration of treatment needed depends on several factors such as size and severity of the wart or verruca. Some warts will disappear after a relatively short time and some warts will need up to 12 weeks treatment before they disappear.

• Alcohol Denat
• Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil
• Salicylic Acid (17.82%)
• Dicaprylyl Carbonate
• Aqua
• Hydroxypropylcellulose

Storage: Store at room temperature, 25°C.

Preparation and Usage: Easy to use 3 step application:

• Assess the area and read the enclosed leaflet.
• Twist and use the brush applicator to apply to the infected area.
• Let the gel dry thoroughly. The gel forms a layer on the wart so a plaster is not necessary.

Directions: Use once a day on a clean and dry wart preferably, at bedtime:

• Soak the wart in warm water for 5 minutes and dry thoroughly.
• Rub the surface of the wart with a nail file or a coarse washcloth.
• You can put some petroleum jelly around the wart to avoid contact with normal skin.
• Slowly twist the bottom of the pen until the gel is released. On first use this can take a while.
• Put gel carefully on the whole surface of the wart
• Close cap.
• Let the gel dry thoroughly. The gel forms a layer on the wart so a plaster is not necessary.
• Continue to use daily until you can see healthy skin again. Don't rub loose skin or use tweezers.
• Warts will disappear by themselves during washing. If wart persists after 12 weeks of treatment we advise you to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
