History: Founded in 1870, Graffigna marked the beginning of a trajectory that exceeds 150 years, being the third oldest winery in Argentina. Today, our wines come from vineyards located in San Juan and Mendoza, regions favored with significant temperature variation and over 300 days of sunshine per year, ideal conditions for producing the highest quality grapes.
Regional information: Crafted in Argentina, Graffigna Reserve reflects the country's long winemaking tradition and the character of its high-altitude vineyards. The unique climate and soils give the wines their intensity, elegance, and expressive style.
Vinification: Grapes are destemmed in 4,000 kg batches and fermented for 8 days at 26-27°C, with a total maceration of 15 days. Fermentation occurs in small concrete and stainless steel vats with Bayanus yeast, followed by full malolactic fermentation. The wine is 100% free-run. Aging: 40% in concrete on fine lees and 60% in French oak for 9 months.
