Preparation and usage
Suitable for all hob types including induction. Dishwasher safe. Oven safe to 230°C/450°F/Gas Mark 8. Care and Use: Before using your stockpot for the first time, wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. When cooking, we recommend filling the stockpot to only two thirds of its capacity, increasing heat gently and using a medium heat setting, as this will prolong the life of the stockpot. Make sure the heat source is suitable for the síze of the base:- don't let flames extend beyond the base of the stockpot, or handles extend over the heat source. Use nylon-ended or wooden utensils, to keep all finishes looking their best. Do not dry cook, pre-heat an empty stockpot or allow the stockpot to boil dry. Always lift the stockpot rather than sliding or dragging it, as this may damage the base of the stockpot and some hob surfaces. Cast aluminium is extremely durable but if accidentally dropped or knocked against a hard surface it may be damaged. Use oven gloves when lifting lids and handles as these may get hot when cooking. To clean, leave to soak before removing stubborn food residue, but let it cool first to prevent damage to the stockpot. Don't put a hot stockpot in cold water. Dishwasher safe, although to keep it looking as new we recommend hand washing in warm soapy water. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners as this may damage the surface.
