Giffard Rhubarb Liqueur - 70cl Bottle - 20% ABV

Harvested in the spring, Rhubarb evokes childhood memories possibly more than any vegetable. It's also a favorite of bakers and confectioners, who use sugar and strawberries to balance its intense tartness. For this liqueur, Giffard creates an infusion of both green and red rhubarb chunks to achieve a perfect balance between tart and sweet.Nose : intense, typical of rhubarb.Tasting notes : a stewed note that prevails over the stringent characteristic of the fruit, making the liqueur both lively and sweet.  Try it at home for aperitif with a dry white, sparkling wine or in cocktails!  Giffard, founded in 1885, we are a five generations family-owned and run liqueurs & syrups producers in France's Loire Valley.
