Giesen Uncharted is a tribute to Marlborough's stunning, untamed landscapes. Inspired by the region where the Giesen brothers first discovered an affinity for exceptional wine, this range captures the essence of Marlborough's unique character. With forty years of craftsmanship behind them, Giesen presents Uncharted as a celebration of both the landscape and lifestyle that define their remarkable wines.
Fruit was hand-selected from Marlborough's Southern Valleys, a region celebrated for producing Pinot Noir with exceptional colour, intensity, texture, and ripeness.
Hand-picked from two blocks in the Southern Valley vineyard, this wine undergoes careful hand-sorting to select only perfect bunches. A portion receives whole bunch fermentation and warm ferment to retain Pinot Noir's beautiful colour and showcase Marlborough's distinct character. It's then aged in new and used French oak barrels to craft an elegant and textured wine.
