Gaviscon Heartburn & Indigestion Relief Peppermint Tablets provide fast, soothing relief for up to 4 hours from heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux. They form a protective barrier over the stomach contents to help soothe burning sensation in the chest. Gaviscon neutralises excess stomach acid and forms a raft to keep acid in the stomach. Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tablets do not contain sugar or gluten.
Ingredients: Each tablet contains Sodium Alginate 250mg, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 133.5mg and Calcium Carbonate 80mg. Contains Aspartame. See leaflet for further information.
Preparation: For oral administration. Chew thoroughly before swallowing. Adults, including the elderly and children 12 years and over: When symptoms occur take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime. Children under 12 years: Should only be taken on medical advice. If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor.
