What is this Product? Each 10ml of oral suspension contains 500mg sodium alginate, 267mg sodium bicarbonate and 160mg calcium carbonate as the active ingredients. This product IS sugar free and gluten free. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Dosage: For oral use. Shake well before use. Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children under 12 years: Should only be taken on medical advice.
Sodium Content: This medicine contains 142.6 mg sodium (main component of cooking table salt) in each 10 ml. This is equivalent to 7.1% of the recommended maximum daily dietary intake of sodium for an adult. The maximum recommended daily dose contains 1140.8 mg sodium (57% of the adult recommended maximum). If you have been advised to follow a low sodium diet, ask your doctor before taking this product.
Other ingredients: Carbomer, methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, benzyl alcohol, sodium saccharin, fennel flavour, erythrosine, sodium hydroxide and water.
Warnings: Do not take if allergic to any ingredient. Contains methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoates which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). Contains benzyl alcohol which may cause allergic reactions. Wait at least 2 hours between taking this medicine and other medicines such as tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, iron salts, thyroid hormones, chloroquine, bisphosphonates and estramustine. If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor.
