Cooking Instructions
1. Use a deep fryer or chip pan capable of attaining a fat or oil temperature of 200º -210º C (390 F-410ºF). It is essential to reach the required temperature before immersion.
2. Fry in groundnut oil, cotton seed oil or any similar good quality frying oil. Do not use lard, butter or margarine.
3. Heat to required temperature as mentioned above, sprinkle a few pieces into the basket or sieve and immerse in the hot fat. Do not overload the basket. As room must be allowed for an expansion of four times their previous size.
4. The pieces puff in about eight seconds after immersion.
5. Shake off surplus oil.
Notice
Although all necessary precautions and procedures have been taken to remove stones, stalks and pips, some may still remain in the product.
