Storage

Sparkling wines and Champagne should always be stored in a cool and dry place away from light and heat sources. The ideal temperature for storage is 13-15 degrees C.    

Warning: Sparkling wines contain high natural pressure. Do not allow bottles to get warm. Chill bottle before opening and avoid shaking. Point bottle away from others and yourself when removing wire, hood and cork. Hold the cork firmly and twist out slowly by hand. Never in any circumstances use a corkscrew to open.

Tasting Notes
On the nose aromas of riped apple and pear with a hint of lime and white flowers. The palate is extremely refreshing with a good balance of acidity, and a long floral finish.

History
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Ferrer family began producing sparkling wine using the method perfected by the Champagne winemakers. Named after their 13th century family home, Freixenet derives from ''La Freixeneda'', meaning ''a place where ash trees grow'' in Catalan. 150 years of successful wine-making, Freixenet is a leading player in the international wine trade

Penedes in Catalonia is the largest and most important sparkling wine region. It is split into 3 zones ranging in altitude from 250m to 800m above sea level, each with a distinct climate

Vinification Details
This is the first organic Cava from Valencia fully produced with Organic grapes. The harvest takes place on September, starting initially in the vineyards which are facing South. The aim of this process is to produce a wonderful Organic wine with delightful ripe fruity notes. The expedition liqueur was also created from the same base wine used in the second fermentation to add to the quality of this wine. Aging is 20 months.
