The grapes for this aromatic and refreshingly citrusy white wine are sourced from Domaine St Roch in Gaja-et-Villedieu, near the sparkling-wine region of Limoux. This is France's sunny south, and those grapes - a blend of Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Colombard - benefit from the Mediterranean climate, but winemaker Jeff Carrell ensures that ripeness is balanced by a zesty acidity. An easy-drinking and versatile wine which Carrell makes exclusively for Fortnum's, this will pair nicely with a wide range of seafood, or with poultry.
