Fortnum's Hoxton Honey is a single-origin honey from a colony of Buckfast Bees in East London. This unpasteurised honey is minimally filtered, retaining its natural aromas and flavours of elderflower and citrus. Enjoy it drizzled over porridge or warm the bottle gently if crystallised.
Our very own colony of Buckfast Bees can be found atop Hoxton Docks, East London, where the colony head out to forage on giant lime trees in the summer months. Nearby Haggerston Park provides the wide variety of native plants and trees that give this honey its thick, aromatic flavour. Roaming fragrant parks and buddleja-lined canals, our bees have created a delicately floral, uniquely Fortnum's honey, bursting with elderflower and citrus notes.
All our honeys are unpasteurised and handled with the utmost care to ensure the natural aromas of the delicate honeys are protected.
All of our honey is proudly single-origin, minimally filtered and completely pure - never blended and never pasteurised.
Crystallisation is a natural process in honey - should it occur, gently warm the bottle in hot water.
