Ford Farm Cheddar is blended with two premium truffle based ingredients – a black truffle and a mushroom salsa, which provides texture and colour, and an aromatic black truffle flavoured oil which infuses the cheddar with the unmistakeable earthy and heady flavour of this much prized ingredient.
Cheddar is a hard pressed cheese manufactured from pasteurised whole cow’s milk and is pale yellow in colour. This cheddar is combined with a black truffle salsa and truffle infused olive oil made up of extra virgin olive oil, dehydrated black truffle and black truffle flavouring. The truffle and mushroom flecks are dispersed with black olives to give the cheddar a firm texture. Made from a dedicated milk supply taken from the local area surrounding their Dorset farm, Ford Farm's delicious Cheddar with Truffle and Mushroom is black waxed and offers a wonderfully flavourful combination.
