Wine has been made in the Rioja region of northern Spain since pre-Roman times and is famous for its soft fruity style. Cesar Fern ndez carefully selected ripe Tempranillo grapes to make this fine Crianza. Crianza wines must be aged for 2 years before release for sale. Cesar aged the wine in American oak barrels for 12 months of that time to soften it and impart a lovely vanilla twist to the flavour. Ready to drink now this wine will keep for 2 years if stored in a cool dry place.
