Clear straw colour in the glass, this wine has an expressive nose of gooseberry, apples, and white stone fruits. The palate is impressively rich with an abundance of fresh fruit and impressive acidity. Perfect served with seafood and light summer salads.

History
De Haan Altes is a family business founded in 2005 by Rafael De Haan. The family own a modern winery in the heart of D.O. Terra Alta with 40 hectares of organic vineyards. Rafael also partners with local winemakers around the country to craft unique, exceptionally made cuvees that are the ultimate expressions of their respective terroirs.

Regional Information
Castilla La Mancha has a continental climate with a high diurnal range, very cold winters and very hot summers. The vineyard is located 180km from Madrid and is planted on sandy clay soils with poor organic content, rich in limestone and chalk.
