A vibrant print of a tree filled with birds, 'Overlooked Happiness' by Fiona Watson.
This fine art-quality print on 210gsm acid-free archival paper is framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. The acrylic glaze is light in weight and optically the same as glass. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK in an exclusive size for John Lewis & Partners.
The patterns, rhythms, forms and colours of nature in a microscopic and macroscopic sense have always fascinated Fiona Watson. This initially led her to study Biological Sciences at Leicester University. After several years of working for various medical journals, she eventually studied printmaking at the Glasgow Print Studio. Etching copper and steel plates with acid turned out to be the perfect blend of science and art. As a complete contrast and foil to messy printmaking, she also works extensively in digital printmaking.
