Recipe for Tawa Murgh (Pan stir fried chicken)
Dice 900g of chicken breast to obtain 2\ cubes. Slice 2 onions (thin slices of equal thickness). Heat 50ml oil in a pan and add the onions. Fry until the onions are golden brown. Lower the heat, add 2 tsp garam masala and 1/2 tsp chilli powder. Add 2 roughly chopped tomatoes and cook until it forms a thick gravy. Add the chicken and cook on low heat. Add 1tsp fenugreek leaves and salt to your taste. Cook until the chicken is done. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves. Serve on a bed of East End Basmati Rice or with Nishaan Roti or Naan Bread.
