The adventure of their family-owned domaine began in 1891 under the impulse of Basile Vigroux, Romain Vigroux's great grandfather. Today, Romain manages Domaine d'Hondrat. Five generations of wine growers have contributed to developing the richness of their vineyards. Firmin, Jean, Ren, Michel, Jean-Marie and Roger have continuously expanded their vineyards from 4 to 80 hectares up until the year of 2016. Since the beginning, their love for their vineyards has made them experts in winegrowing that has been transmitted from father to son for over five generations. Their great care of the grapes and professionalism has resulted in an excellent quality product that has evolved through five generations of wine lovers.
