The plots for this wine are implanted on 3 towns of the denomination Chteauneuf-du-Pape: Chteauneuf-du-Pape, Bdarrides and Sorgues ; it is spreaded on Cansaud, Coteaux St-Jean, Font de Michelle and Plan du Rhne districts. The soil is constituted by pebbles which can record the daily heat and restitute it to the vines during the night.
