To mark its sixtieth anniversary, Diptyque has chosen to pay homage to the legendary encounter with Orphéon, a late-night bar at the intersection of 34 boulevard Saint-Germain and the Rue de Pontoise. The bar's entrance was adjacent to the original Diptyque boutique, and a few years later the Maison has extended into its space. Today, the only remaining vestige from the Orphéon is the blue faceted column at the back of the Diptyque boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain.
