This wine offers generous fresh citrus aromas with just a hint of toasty brioche. The palate is crisp, dry and refreshing thanks to its finely balanced acidity. It has an enticing creamy texture and a persistent length of flavour.
History
Denbies Wine Estate is England's largest vineyard and one of the largest privately owned in Northern Europe. The current owners acquired the Estate in 1985. The Estate now comprises 627 acres, with 265 acres under vine. Winemaker - John Worontschak at Denbies Wine Estate.
Regional Information
Situated on the perfectly suited North Downs close to Dorking, the vineyards of Denbies Wine Estate showcase the ideal geological features benefiting the site. Based on chalky, south-facing slopes, the vineyard sits in a protected valley, allowing for optimum heat and sunshine exposure. The vineyards are dry farmed (un-irrigated) and low yielding (around 15HL/Ha).

Whole berry pressed, only the very best of the juice is kept to make this sparkling wine. The wine was bottled for the secondary fermentation with a further 3 years of aging in our cellars before the wine was disgorged.
