Della Vite Superiore DOCG Prosecco is an award winning, vegan certified and sustainably crafted Prosecco. It was recently awarded the 'Best Prosecco' in the Good House Keeping awards. The wine is made from hand-picked Glera grapes and produced by a third-generation wine making family. The wine is fermented for twice as long as normal styles of Prosecco which gives a very soft and elegant bubble profile. Yeast strains, cultivated by Della Vite, are used which gives a vibrant, fresh and easy drinking character to the wine. The wine is made in Valdobbiadene - one of the best areas for Prosecco production.
Della Vite is a high-quality, vegan Prosecco crafted with sophistication and know-how from 3 generations of winemakers, re-imagined by the attitude and bold spirit of the Delevingne sisters. Launched in 2020, the wines have been widely acclaimed by 5 Hotels, Michelin Star Restaurants, UK's Best Bars and highly regarded by wine critics and journalists.

History

Regional information
Beneath the Dolomite mountains in Northern Italy, the hills of Valdobbiadene are filled with knowledge and passion for making Prosecco. A region of quiet valleys and dramatic skylines, Glera grapes have been grown here since Roman times. Much of the area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, selected for conservation of its cultural and environmental significance. D.O.C.G is the highest marker of provenance and quality given by the 'consorzio' (consortium), set up to monitor and maintain standards.
Vinification
Carefully selected DOCG-certified Glera grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed for a soft extraction. Our winery's on-site laboratory has created a unique yeast strain allowing for a longer (60 day) fermentation that develops the depth of flavour and rich texture. Post-ferment, the finished wine is lightly filtered through vegan-friendly ceramic filters.
