The Compañia Vinicola del Norte de España might have been founded in 1879, but it wasn't until 1920 that the vineyard started producing its Imperial range. Each wine is fermented and aged in French oak vats to develop a rich, smoky flavour with charred aromas. This 2017 Gran Reserva features balsamic notes and sweet spices, fused with forest fruits, berries and liquorice for a hint of the Mediterranean.
