Care instructions: Cakes will keep for up to 5 days. If you're not slicing your cake straight away, store it in the fridge in an airtight container. When ready to tuck in, remove from the fridge and let it come to room temperature - this may take 3-4 hours depending on your room. Once the buttercream has a soft, whipped, double-cream-like texture, it's ready to eat! If you don't let it return to room temp, the sponge and buttercream will be hard and flavours dulled.
