RaisinsOur wonderful organic raisins start life as ripe and juicy grapes. They are dried naturally under the hot sun for three weeks producing raisins with an intense dark colour and distinct rich caramel flavour.Delicious as a snack, cereal topping or baking ingredient, they're a Crazy Jack cupboard must have!

Preparation and Usage
Delicious as a snack, cereal topping or baking ingredient, they're a Crazy Jack cupboard 'must have'!Try Crazy Jack's Raisin & Peanut CookiesIngredients:125g unsalted butter, softened1 egg2 tsp. baking powder17g Crazy Jack Raisins150g light muscovado sugar150g plain flour125g crunchy peanut butter1. Preheat the oven to 190°C, Gas Mark 5. Grease two baking sheets.Beat together all the ingredients except the raisins. When well blended, stir in the raisins.2. Roll heaped teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls and place on the baking sheets, not too close together.3. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool for 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack to firm up.Top Tip: Before adding raisins to a cake, bread or batter mix, roll them in a little flour, it helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the mix.
