Vincent Paris is known as a shy winemaker; in 1997, he created his first wine alongside his uncle Robert Micel, one of Cornas’ finest growers, before working independently after inheriting vines on a 30% granite gradient from his grandfather. The vines themselves give Cornas Granit 30 its name, and the blend couldn’t be any different from its producer, with bold, concentrated flavours of black fruit, a long finish and a hint of pepper that’ll delight the palate.
