History
Established in 1551, Codorniu is today one of Spain's leading cava producers and the number one Sparkling wine brand in Spain. In 1872 cava pioneer Josep Raventos from the Codorniu winery was the first to produce Spanish sparkling wine by the Traditional Method', just like a Champagne. We use grapes from our own vineyards for the vast majority of our cavas. The rest come from local growers with whom we have longstanding relationships. Codorniu is the largest organic Cava producer in the world.

Codorni­u takes advantage of the diversity of the Cava region to make cavas with a unique personality, controlling the entire process from the grapes to the bottle.
