History
The legend of Chronic Cellars began in Paso Robles in 2004 when original founders, Josh and Jake Beckett, combined their winemaking skills with their wit and humor to turn an idea into reality using 2 tons of the best - or 'Chronic' - grapes to make killer wine. Twenty years on, with an arsenal of awards and pioneering attitude still intact, Chronic Cellars continues to disrupt the wine industry with its exceptional wines made with character and bold, colorful labels that live up to their clever names.
Regional information
The grapes used to create this wine are from Paso Robles, an area halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It is a Rhone varietal hot spot and naturally a few of them have found their way into this delicious blend. Vinification Details - Space Doubt is sourced from multiple east side vineyards in Paso Robles.
Vinification
Expertly blended by our winemaker, Kip Lorenzetti, this Zinfandel dominated blend benefits from the careful addition of a little Petite Sirah, Syrah and Grenache to make it a truly unique wine. It is then aged for 6 to 8 months using French oak.
