At Château Smith Haut Lafitte, the vines are planted in a single block on a Günz gravel plateau in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, producing six different wines of excellent quality. In this 2011 iteration, rich fruit aromas are restrained with notes of marzipan, with a full-bodied palate and a long, rich finish.
