History
The commune of Cadillac centres its ancient walled town, at the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Populated from the 10th century on by monks, it was they who first established vineyards in the area, clearing the hillsides in favour of the vine. This is a region rich in history and heritage, particularly famous for the Abbey of La Sauve, constructed in the twelfth century. Chateau Laubes represents a domaine of exceptional quality;

Regional Information
Chateau Laubes is situated in commune of Escoussans, close to the town of Cadillac, on the right bank of the Garonne. The vineyard stretches across south and southwest-facing hills, looking across to the Garonne, where it profits from the best of the sun and at the same time enjoys excellent drainage of the soils
