Château Lafite Rothschild produces two of only five wines awarded First Growth - the highest rank of Bordeaux wines and is one of the largest vineyards in the Medoc - standing at 107 hectares. This wine is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.

This is a delicious wine with pencil lead and crushed mint leaf from mid palate through to the close of play, elegant and understated power, brimming with estate signature. The tannins are elongated, finely balanced against the acidity, with slate scraping texture. Fine and long but with a ton of understated power, uncompromising.
