grapefruit aromas. This refreshing promise is affirmed in the mouth by dominant
notes of raspberry and redcurrant underscored by the freshness of citrus. This
ros wines harmony and perfect balance prolongs the pleasure of tasting in a
long, sweet finale. Perfect with saffron risotto with langoustines. Chteau la Gordonne is an historical domain founded in 17th
century. The bell seen on the bottle is the Chteaus historically listed
emblem, dating back to 1654. It originates from a former chapel located on the
grounds of La Gordonne. First harvest at the vineyard was in 1652 and the
estate has been producing exquisite cuves ever since. Chteau La Gordonne is established in Pierrefeu-du-Var, in
the heart of the Golden Triangle of Provence. It is a unique property in
Provence, covering vineyards planted on seaward-facing terraces of shale, which
enjoy a special microclimate. This allows the vineyards to grow in the best
conditions to produce high-quality grapes. Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes are planted in schist-based soil and
mature in a harmonious balance with our terroir under the Provenal sun.Product information

Clinging
to the schist hillsides of Provence, the parcels of Chteau La Gordonne Terroir
Remarquable vineyard are carefully selected for this Vrit du Terroir vintage.
The grapes are exclusively harvested at night to benefit from the low
temperatures and to increase the quality. They are directly pressed to extract
the preliminary aromas. Under the press, the first juices selection allows only
the tte de cuvee to be kept. Fermentation occurs at a cool temperature to
express the fruits and the aromas.
