Vines have grown from the soil where Château Cheval Blanc’s Saint-Emilion vineyards now reside since late antiquity, producing world-acclaimed wines including its near-mythic namesake Premier Grand Cru. 2009 is considered by some to be the greatest vintage in Bordeaux. It is full-bodied and expressive with impressive concentration and exuberant richness. Strong black fruit flavours and tertiary notes of eucalyptus and menthol have a delicate balance and inimitable freshness and elegance.
