Indulge in a refined tasting experience with the Château De Laubade XO, a premium French Armagnac from the heart of Bas Armagnac. This exquisite spirit is aged for 15 to 25 years in Gascony oak casks, offering a multifaceted aroma of prune, vanilla, and cocoa. Perfect for pairing with rich cheeses or chocolate desserts, it brings a touch of French tradition to any occasion.
Château de Laubade was built in 1870 in the heart of the noblest area of the appellation: the Bas Armagnac and is today, the premier Armagnac property. The third generation is actively involved in the quest of excellence of the property, composed of 260 acres of single vineyard, to make Château de Laubade an undisputed reference among the Armagnac category. There are four traditional grape varieties: Ugni-Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco (the most emblematic) via sustainable agriculture using organic manure produced by 600 ewes.
Château de Laubade is the only Armagnac House coopering its own casks, from Gascony oak, to ensure the finest maturing process which matures between 15 and 25 years, grape variety by grape variety, vintage by vintage.
Tasting Notes:
A rich and shining amber colour. Multifaceted with a richness of prune, vanilla, cinamon, cocoa, orange peel, nut and toasted bread aromas. On the mouth, there is fineness, feminity and elegance.
Serving Suggestions:
Pairs well with a Pont Lévêque or a Livarot cheese, with chocolate cakes and with a flambé pie prepared with the same X.O.
