The ring slips on. To determine the correct size, measure the circumference of the finger in millimetres using a tape measure when the hand is neither hot nor cold. The chosen size should pass easily along the full length of the finger. Note that the two hands differ slightly in size; a ring worn on the left hand will not fit the same finger on the right hand. All Cartier rings are measured in millimetres.
