New Technology Explained

The RF 28mm F2.8 STM incorporates Canon's precision Molded (PMo) lens elements which consist of a very small front element and a large rear element. The large rear element increases resolution and decreases optical aberrations, usually caused by a large element at the front. The effective placement of three PMo lens elements achieves excellent rendering capability and compactness, while also keeping the number of internal lens components to a minimum.
