In German, the word lager means to store and our Hells Lager spends 4 weeks in the tank. This is the proper length of time for lagering, the right amount of time for our Hells to acquire great depth of flavour and enough time to grow a pretty decent beard. Made with traditional german ingredients...not bratwurst or sauerkraut but Bavarian Lager yeast, Perle and Hallertau Tradition hops and our own special house Pilsner malt from Bamberg (were one of the only two breweries outside Germany to use it).
